What is Med-e-Tainer?

Med-e-Tainer is an Internet-based, innovative service we are offering to the patients of Primary Care Consultants. You will have access to a password protected, secure Web site which will give you access to our office as well as many other features.

What healthcare services can I access online?

Request to review your lab and diagnostic tests online.
Renew your prescriptions online through our office.
Send a request to schedule an appointment.
Discuss symptoms and treatment options with your physician for acute minor illnesses
(such as sinus or bladder infections). You may send unlimited, non-urgent messages to your doctor's office at your convenience.

Is Med-e-Tainer secure?
Yes. Unlike e-mail, which relies on multiple servers distributed across the Internet, the secure messaging service protects the privacy and confidentiality of our communications. All messages are delivered to a Web browser using 128-bit, secure-socket layer encryption technology. Messages are never stored anywhere but on the secure server, and they cannot be read en route, deleted, copied, or altered in any way. The service requires a sign-in name and password, and can only be accessed by registered users (you, me, and my authorized staff).

What computer hardware/software do I need to use the Med-e-Tainer service?

Med-e-Tainer requires only a connection to the Internet and a Web browser. That's it!!

Of course, you can still call us, or come in for a face-to-face office visit, this is just an added option for you.
